Wow what a great weekend we had at Put-in-Bay May 15th & 16th! Great performances by the Danger Brothers band, Love Sick Radio at Mr Ed's Bar & Grill and the bars and shops were packed! The Put-in-bay Resort pool was rockin with DJ Billy and the Put-in-Bay Resort hot tub was the place to be Saturday afternoon.
Pretty much everything was open and busy. It really looked like a late June weekend at Put-in-Bay. Mid day, the Jet Express Ferry boats were rolling in with full loads of excited tourists and the sun was out and shining brightly. There were hundreds of Golf carts out and about touring the island.
Look like this is going to be a great season at Put-in-Bay!!

Put-in-Bay will host the 6th annual Victoria Day weekend scavenger hunt and Put-in-Bay Poker Run on the weekend of May 15th and 16th in downtown Put-in-Bay. The scavenger hunt takes place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and the Poker Run starts at 4:00 p.m. and concludes at 6:00 p.m.
All events take place on Golf Carts or Mopeds and there are a large amount of prizes including Put-in-Bay Mini Vacations for two including lodging and transportation, meals and souvenirs. This is a family oriented event that draws a large turnout. Reservations for golf carts are reccomended and may be made by visiting http://www.putinbayrentals.com
May 15th & 16th weekend also draws a great line up of Put-in-Bay's favorite entertainers including the Danger Brothers, Lo Cash Cowboys, Bob Gatewood and Calabash, Mike "Mad Dog" Adams, Westside Steve and Rise Phoenix Rise.Also appearing this weekend is Sirus radio's number one band "Love Sick Radio" and DJ Billy all day Saturday at the Put-in-Bay Resort heated pool and swim up bar.
Attractions and shopping are open for the season as are Put-in-Bay's wide selection of restaurants including the Boardwalk, Mossbacks, Mr Ed's Bar & Grill and the famous Chicken Patio.
It's a great family weekend to jump aboard the Jet Express and head to Put-in-Bay.
